Rowing – Vittorino da Feltre shines in Genoa: 12 medals and outstanding performances for the young red-and-whites

A day full of sport and satisfaction in Genoa Pra’ for Vittorino da Feltre Rowing Club of Piacenza, taking part in the second regional gathering for Juniors and Cadets, a qualifying event ahead of the Northern Youth Meeting, scheduled in Corgeno on May 2–3.

Under the guidance of coaches Paolo Michelotti, Paolo Groppi, Gianluca Riscazzi, and Umberto Moroni, the young red-and-white athletes achieved a total of 12 medals (4 golds, 4 silvers, and 4 bronzes), confirming the strength and growth of a young yet highly competitive group.


Highlights

Standout performers of the day were Giorgia Sardi and Viola Ferrari, both achieving a double victory:

More gold came from

-Matteo Sardi and Marco Tinelli in the Coxless Pair U19 (07:32.20), their specialty event.
-Dario Guerra earned two silvers: Lightweight Single Sculls (08:06.80, +3.90) Mixed Lightweight Double Sculls with Edoardo Maria Barabino (07:18.80)

Due to a technical issue, Gabriele Dallarda and Christian Gandolfi were unable to finish their race, but their determination remains an example for all.

Once again, Vittorino da Feltre proves that passion, dedication, and teamwork make all the difference — the same values proudly supported by Beta Nit in its projects.

Now the focus shifts to Corgeno (May 2–3), where the young red-and-whites will return to the water for the Northern Youth Meeting:
